How long it takes to make a bronze sculpture?
If I were to work on just one sculpture, this would take several weeks. Pouring bronze is quite laborious and expensive for just one sculpture, unless it is a large comission.
Usually, I made molds for several sculptures to pour at one time. Bronze artists typically work together to plan one big pour because it is more efficient. In the past, I poured just once a year and had from 12-20 sculptures as a result.
